The company, which works with clients to make products more user friendly, received a 2008 Medical Design Excellence Award for the “Giraffe Warmer,” an infant incubator.
The warmer includes an adjustable tilting bed, transparent side wall and other innovations.
"HumanCentric is honored to have contributed to the effort, and this award is a significant indication of the success of the collaboration between GE Healthcare and our company,” said Barry Beith, chief executive officer of HumanCentric.
The Giraffe Warmer was cited in the category for general hospital devices and therapeutic products.
