Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Naina Bhasin, a former executive with CellzDirect, is joining The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences as director of business and technology development.
In that position, Bhasin will be tasked with forming research efforts with businesses, academia, and government agencies to develop new medicines. She also will support development of The Hamner Accelerator for Translation Bioscience.
At CellzDirect, Bhasin was director of the Hepatic Research Registry. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in cell and structural biology, Bhasin received a doctorate in the same field from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
