Research Triangle Park, N.C. — StrikeIron, Inc., a provider of solutions for delivery of on-demand data over the Internet, has a new chief executive officer - David Linthicum, a technology industry veteran with extensive experience in distributed computing.
Linthicum will apply his knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web 2.0 to company strategy. He is a published author of ten industry-related books and a regular contributor to a number of leading industry publications and blogs.
His track record includes a number of key technology management roles, including CTO of SAGA Software, Mobil Oil, EDS, AT&T, and Ernst and Young. Most recently, he was managing partner with Zapthink, an SOA consulting organization. He held one prior CEO title with BRIDGEWERX.
