Durham, N.C. — Ray Lawless, an executive with more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, is joining the board of directors at mobile content technology developer Motricity.
Lawless, a former chief financial officer at Syniverse Technologies, also will lead the board’s audit committee.
Motricity is in the process of moving its headquarters to the state of Washington from Durham and is laying off most of its employees in North Carolina.
