Do you ever watch a show and then cannot get the song out of your head?
They are kinda catchy...especially the cartoons...
Sooooo...What show tune do you have stuck in your head?
Flintstones... Meet the Flintstones,
They're a modern stoneage family.
From the town of Bedrock,
They're a page right out of history.
Let's ride with the family down the street.
Through the courtesy of Fred's two feet.
When you're with the Flintstones,
have a yabba dabba doo time,
a dabba doo time,
we'll have a gay old time

Flintstones... Meet the Flintstones,
They're a modern stoneage family.
From the town of Bedrock,
They're a page right out of history.
Someday, maybe Fred will win the fight,
And that cat will stay out for the night.
When you're with the Flintstones,
have a yabba dabba doo time,
a dabba doo time,
we'll have a gay old time
How about this one?
Life is like a hurricane
Here in Duckburg
Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes
It's a duck-blur
Might solve a mystery
Or rewrite history
CHORUS:
DuckTales (oooh ooooh)
Every day they're out there making
DuckTales (oooh ooooh)
Tales of daring do bad and good
LuckTales (oooh ooooh)
When it seems they're heading for the
Final curtain
Cool deduction never fails
That's for certain
The worst of messes
Become successes
CHORUS
D-D-D-Danger! Watch behind you
There's a stranger out to find you
What to do? Just grab on to some DuckTales
CHORUS
D-D-D-Danger! Watch behind you
There's a stranger out to find you
What to do? Just grab on to some ...
CHORUS (Twice)
Not pony tales or cotton tales, no
DuckTales (ooh ooooh)

La la la-la la la,
Sing a happy song.
La la la-la la la,
Smurf your whole day long.
[Whistled]
La la la-la la la
[Papa Smurf speaks]
Smurf along with me!
[Whistled]
La la la-la la la
[Papa Smurf speaks]
Simple as can be.
[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
Next time you're feeling blue just let a smile begin,
Happy things will come to you...
[Smurfette speaks]
So smurf yourself a grin!
[Ominous Gargamel music]
[Gargamel speaks]
Oooooo I hate Smurfs!
[Azrael meows]
[Gargamel speaks]
I'll get you, I'll get all of you if it's the last thing I ever do! hehehehe!
[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
La la la-la la la,
Now you know the tune,
[Harmony Smurf plays the "la la la-la la la" tune (barely) on his off-key trumpet]
[Sung by Smurfs in unison, accentuated for finale]
You'll be Smurfing soon!

The Era of introductory songs to explain the show left us after the 60s...Gilligan's Ilse tells it all...the Brady Bunch...Branded...Then there were the mood lead ins like Frankie Lane singing Rawhide...and the signature tunes like Twilight Zone and Bonanza. I liked the music and video of Mangum PI, Baretta, Star Trek had the ..where no man has gone before...and the greatest, Peter Gunn.
Jack Webb's Dragnet was a completely great lead in...this is the city, los angles California..blah, blah...I'm Joe Friday, this is my partner, Joe Gannon, we're working out of Bunko.
Batman drove me nuts...as does the stupidly simple bass line on TV commercial for "FREE credit report dot come."

Seems you can't be sure Of anything anymore. Although,
You maybe lonely and then, One day you're smiling again. Every time I turn around, I see the girl that turns my world around. Standing there...
Everytime I turn around, Her spirit's lifting me right off the ground. What's gonna be ? Guess we'll just wait and see.
