west virginia bound

I will be heading up to West Virginia tomorrow night around midnight. I have never driven in the mountains by myself! Any tips or information about WVA would be appreciated (as long as it is clean and helpful@). I love to drive and I love the challenge of tackling the mountains! I will be going to Fairmont and Morgantown.
I, of course, have googled alot on the internet about driving in the mountains, etc.
