I just had both of my step-daughters come over and visit with me tonight. I was supposed to be giving a guitar lesson to my 18 year old daughter's boyfriend but they were late. when they got here I was surprised that my 15 year old was with them too. It's so awesome to know the kids still love me and want to see me. It's amazing that my divorce was finalized on monday and the next two days, my kids are coming around after I've been gone over a year.
God is good!
They live close by and I forsee evenings cooking supper for them, and giving guitar lessons

Just, well, be careful. I don't know the ex and what she's like, but... I , well, just be careful. Someone could be toying with your emotiions, and it wouldn't be the kids.
Not trying to be a downer, just realistic. People can be vindictive - some people just gotta find some way to twist the knife.
Enjoy them! Let them enjoy you! But keep your eyes open OK?
