calling all golo moms!!!
Published Aug. 21, 2008Give me your best home remedy and magic cure-alls for (really severe) nasal congestion. I've tried Mucinex, Advil Cold & Sinus, Benadryl...Afrin works, but I've already done the max dosage for the nasal spray. At this point when I blow my nose all I get is blood.

Otherwise, eucalyptus oil in a hot bath will help open the sinuses and and some drops to clear yeast infections (from your local herbalist) will help to get rid of the excess congestion, but if you don't stay away from the cause, the symptoms will just come back.

I tried Vicks - I put a teaspoon in a bowl of hot water and inhaled for a few minutes, nothing. :(
