flash flood - just upgraded to warning

Given the heated political discussions taking place, some of you may have missed this advisory issued at 7:47 pm. If you live in eastern Wake or northwestern Johnston county, be prepared to take flight from low lying areas.
Addendum: The National Weather Service has just upgraded the flood advisory to a warning effective until 11:15 pm. The warning is listed immediately below followed by the original advisory.

The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Johnston County in central North Carolina
Wake County in central North Carolina
* until 1115 PM EDT
* at 806 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
slow moving thunderstorms over northeaster wake and northwestern
Johnston counties. These thunderstorms are producing rainfall rates
in excess of two inches in an hour.
* Locations threatened with flooding include Wendell and Zebulon.
Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads...turn around...dont drown.

* urban and small stream flood advisory for...
north central Johnston County in central North Carolina
east central Wake County in central North Carolina
* until 1045 PM EDT
* at 747 PM EDT Doppler radar indicated and area of showers and
thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall over portions of
northeastern wake and northwestern Johnston counties. Rainfall rates
in excess one inches per hour will occur with these showers and
thunderstorms. This will result in minor flooding across portions of
northeastern wake and northwestern Johnston counties... especially
in and around the Wendell area. Rainfall amounts of up to two inches
will be possible in these areas through 930 PM.
* Locations threatened with flooding include... Wendell and emit.
Excessive runoff from this storm will cause flooding of small creeks
and streams...highways and underpasses. Additionally...country roads
and farmlands along the banks of creeks and streams and other low
lying areas are subject to flooding.
Be prepared to take action if the flooding threat increases...or a
warning is issued.
