The Republican National Convention hasn't even started yet, and I've heard this word used to describe McCain 20 times on CNN.
A maverick is a person who shows independence of thought or action, a non-conformist or rebel.
Really? Really? He's 72. He may have driven a Maverick, or ridden on one.
It's gonna be a long week. But I will watch, and listen. Making a choice on party, sex or color does nothing for yourself or your country.

I would love to vote for a moderate political candidate, because I don't believe fanatacism and blind devotion on either side of the aisle is a good thing. Unfortunately, it looks like that ain't gonna happen this year.
