mccain/palin

Published Aug. 30, 2008

Ok,  It is late here, 1 AM, and I have been reading what GoLoers are saying about the Republican ticket.  Let me first say, as a vet, I honor and respect John McCain but did not want him as my President.  As a 28 yr Alaskan, I LOVE Sarah Palin and what she has done since being elected as MY Governor.  I belong to the Alaskan Independence Party and did not vote for her, but have written her 4 times over issues and to give her my support and tell her how much I approve of what she is doing.  She is VERY Libertarian in her views.  She is an Alaskan, and as such, she feels that as long as you are not hurting someone else with what you are doing, the government should not be in your life telling you what to do.  We have a very, very strong privacy clause in our Constitution and Sarah believes in it and is all for personal freedoms, much as our founding Fathers were.  I heard people say she is alot like Ron Reagan.  I will tell you, she is alot more like RON PAUL than Ron Reagan!!  She is our sweetheart and one h3ll of a Governor!  I was going to write in Ron Paul, but now I may try and get a bonified war hero and our fantastic Governor elected to the highest office in the land.  If anyone has any questions they might want answers about how we view things in the frozen north, please dont hesitate to ask.  Sarah Palin will be a heck of a change to business as usual.

Great blog Yukon and I'll be voting the same way.

See Chart, You do know that there are 100s of thousands of small towns under 10,000 people in populate? That's what makes up the U.S.A. You do also know she is the Governor of the state of Alaska, which is part of the U.S.A. Alaska, which has about the same population as Delaware, the state that Joe Biden is only a Senator of. BTW, just in case you missed the memo, Palin is the VP, not the P. Biden is the VP, not the P. Compare the two of them. Washington outsider who actually made change in politics vs 35 year incumbent. I'll let you figure out which one is for real change.

"Why should Dems carp about Palin's inexperience when she arguably has more than their Presidential nominee."

Amen. It's pathetic that the best the demos can do, is field a junior senator from Ill, and a similarly junior carpetbagger currently in NY.

Why should Dems carp about Palin's inexperience when she arguably has more than their Presidential nominee.

Thanks for the info.

There's a lot of Dem carping about Palin's inexperience, but I consider that her best quality. I do think she's libertarian (don't use the capitalized version unless you're talking about the party) in SOME ways but distinctly unlibertarian in other ways. I discuss her inexperience being a positive at my blog: http://nocoercion.com.

SEE CHART - again another lefty uneducated in the governor of my states accomplishments.

We receive a $1,300 yearly dividend directly as a result of Sara Palin taxing over 6 bil to the big oil companies. She banged heads with Exxon, Conaco and BP and guess who won??? I dont reside in the state at the moment, but on 12 Sept I will be 1,300 dollars richer as a result of Palin's challenge to the big oil companies......might want to bone up on your political background a little - especially when it comes to my governor.

Bones,

Is this the best the Hillary women can come up with? Do you feel this way about all working women?

This country is about to discover how many conservative women have voting power!

Country First! McCain/Palin!

"What I can't wait to watch is when some of the senatorial good old boys try to treat her like a little girl and she chews them up and spits them out." SteveCrisp

LOL, you and me both!

Thank you YukonJohn, I am excited about Palin. I believe she is just what this country needs. I love her libertarian belief.
