The thing is, removing a hat indoors is purely one of western society's convention - not anything connected to faith or belief. It's simply considered good manners. Removing a turban in public, however, IS a matter religious belief and practice.
It was the group's sheer and deliberate ignorance that made me decide to find some other group to handle my donations.
