There are many citizen journalists here on GOLO and I think you're one of them. Just because you don’t consider yourself a “citizen journalist,” doesn’t mean that you don’t have what it takes to become one.
We’ve got some great minds here, people who question the status quo and want answers to unanswered questions.
A citizen journalist comes in many forms. Just think of all of the thought-provoking blog posts we read here and some of the great discussions and debates that come out of the news stories.
So, if you feel so inclined, join this group where we will discuss several areas where trained journalists have a wealth of experience, such as accessing public records and meetings, the basics of media law and journalism ethics.
We'll also share ides for stories and blogs and discuss ways to enhance them and get more bang for your buck. It'll be fun. Trust me.
