Even if you know of no one who has/had cancer or is fighting it, feel free to talk of your concerns of cancer as well.  I want to focus this group on cancer issues. You may not know someone who is facing this challege today but if you do Always Hope is here.

Ironic as this may sound I am hoping this site will have to be used very little. I just want members to know it is here if they feel like they have a need for an adult place to go.   This group is open and you can go in and sign up without invitation

Thanks everyone for all the good wishes. I unfortunately allow myself to get upset over little things like being backstabbed by a supposed friend and overlook the good stuff. I need to focus on the positive, now more than ever.

I'm glad to be here, My BEST friend has Breast Cancer. She's one of the finest people I've ever met in my life! She has been thru chemo, radiation, lost her hair, mastectomy, all the aweful things, but on a lighter note, SHE'S POSITIVE! She tells me everyday, I'm gonna win this! Thanks to the group for a place to "vent". I can't imagine my life without her in it. God has blessed both our lives, without him, we would have folded long ago. Bless you too!

UPdate on my grandfather: He has two different types of cancer, both in his lungs (and on his spine). One is common and treatable, the other is rare, affects less than 1 in a million people and is not treatable. They cannot operate at this point. He was given 4-12 months. Thank you for your prayers.
