Marianna always has a smile on her face when she greets my son. (He has down syndrome and autism) She is patient yet firm with him and has worked hard to bring his signing and communication skills forward. I have always said that the teachers that work with special needs children have a special place in this world. Thank you Marianna!!!! 

Meghan Mangum

Meghan teaches our child who has autism. Because of her caring commitment to our child, we have a child who now attends a regular preK class and is learning what she needs to go on to regular Kindgarten next year. Meghan always has the motivation to try something new when the status quo isn't working. There is a saying "to teach is to change a life forever." This is absolutely true. Our daughter will be forever changed because of the instruction and love she has received from Meghan.

P.S. – All of the teachers at Mariposa school fit this description. The school is an extraordinary place for extraordinary children who are taught by extraordinary teachers!
