Holiday Shopping at School

This is a weekend a lot of people will probably spend shopping for holiday things.  You don't have to do it all at the mall.  Head to some of the local schools.

The PTSA at Centennial Campus Middle School in Raleigh is holding a Holiday Heyday Craft Fair tomorrow, Saturday December 6th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  It will feature handmade creative crafts from a variety of vendors.  Concessions will be available as well as a silent auction.  The school is at 1900 Main Campus Drive in Raleigh.

At Cary Academy, more that 100 vendors have put their wares up for sale at the annual Holiday Shoppe.  It's in the Sports and Education Annex on the Cary Academy campus.  Shop today until 5pm and from 6:30pm to 9pm and tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.  You can buy jewelry, home accessories, holiday ornaments, food, and handmade crafts.  Proceeds from Holiday Shoppe go to community outreach and need based scholarships. Cary Academy is located in Cary at 1500 N. Harrison Ave.
